How fast is the delivery of Welore Products?

What is the maximum suction lift of a Welore Pump?
- In most cases Plunger Pump can take 1.25 M, High Viscosity liquid and have maximum lift of 1 Meter, however, positive suction is recommended for viscous chemicals or chemicals that off-gas readily.
Can Welore Metering Pump handle viscosity of 400 Centipoises & above?
- Welore Metering Pumps with Standard liquid ends can handle chemicals up to 400 centipoises. High viscosity liquid ends can handle chemicals much more than 400 centipoises.
What is the recommended periodical maintenance for Welore Pumps?
- It depends on the application. We recommend performing maintenance every six to to twelve months. This includes changing the NRV and seal rings, plungers & gaskets.
Do Welore pumps require a Pulsation Dampener? Whether Swelore can supply one?
- Reciprocating Pumps with pulsating flow requires a dampener. Swelore has vide variety of Pulsation Dampener available like Vessel type, Diaphragm Type, bladder type depending upon flow, pressure and of flow fluctuation required one can select suitable dampener.
Do I need a pressure relief valve for my pump?
- Plunger pumps need to be installed with a pressure relief valve .However, Welore hydraulic diaphragm pump have inbuilt relief valve in hydraulic circuit. If line pressure exceeds the set pressure, relief valve will bypass pressurized hydraulic oil into reservoir of Pump. Thus it protects process line from over pressure.
How can I feed chemical in proportion to flow?
- Welore Metering Pumps are simple to control from an external signal. By using a Welore pump with a suitable actuator fitted on the Pump, pump flow will be controlled by input signal coming from the process instrumentation.
Why Metering Pump & not Centrifugal Pump?
- Due to the following excellent characteristics Metering Pump are used in place of Centrifugal Pump.
  
  No leakage & contamination because of the mixing of Pumping and other fluids is totally prevented by using Diaphragm Type Pump. Flow is insensitive with respect to variation of discharge pressure. Precise accuracy with respect to capacity out put is maintained Absolute isolation of pumpage for the rest of the Pump is achieved. Higher mechanical efficiency "COST SAVING"
Why Diaphragm Pump instead of Plunger Pump?
- Low maintenance, "O" Leakage, Built in safety Relief Valves, Replacement of Packing is not required, totally enviro friendly. Capable of handling toxic, hazardous liquids.
What I need to do if Pump is not developing pressure?
- Pump does not build pressure just by starting it. Pump discharge line must be contacted to elevated pressure point to built pressure of discharge side. If still pump does not generate pressure or deliver desired flow, check Pump discharge & suction valve for dirt's & foreign particles.
Can I use Metering Pump for Toxic & Hazardous liquid like Pyrophoric solutions, which ignite when it comes in contact with air, liquid acetylene highly volatile or any hazardous radioactive fluids?
- Diaphragm Type Metering Pump is the only design capable of metering such hazardous and volatile fluids.
What I should do when my Pumps deliver higher capacity than specified on the nameplate?
- Ensure that discharge pressure is always greater than suction pressure, if these conditions does not fulfill then Pump will deliver higher flow than specified on the nameplate. The minimum pressure difference should be 3 MWC (0.3 bar)
Can metering pump used for Toxic & hazardous?
- Yes, with remote head construction Liquid End & power End can be separated into two separate i.e.SAFE ZONE & NONE SAFE. Pump can be operated & maintained from safe zone.
